IPAPO DAY CELEBRATION//MAKINDE 2nd TERM
The people of oke ogun and Oyo state at large have been charged to eschew sentiment and appreciate good governance of Engineer Seyi Mankinde's administration in the 2023 election with a view to achieving more dividend of democracy and unprecedented development across the state.
The admonition was part of remarks made by the duo of Member,Oyo state house of assembly representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju constituency Hon Dele Adeola and the Chairman Itesiwaju local government Hon Ojo Bolaji Akintola while speaking at the 2022 Ipapo day celebration and golden jubilee of Ipapo descendant union.
The duo said Governor Seyi Makinde has positively changed the narrative of the state through his numerous developmental programmes across the state.
They admonished the people of oke ogun to reciprocate the gesture through their vote in the 2023 election.
Elero of Ilero Oba Wasiu Oyedele Saka Olokolonigi while speaking on behalf of oke ogun traditional rulers rejoiced with the people of Ipapo on the historic occasion and charged oke ogun indigines in diaspora to come home and contribute their quota to the development of their father land.
A Former sole administrator, Itesiwaju local government who is also the former president Ipapo Descendant Union,pa Joseph Ogunyale, Chairman Ipapo day planning committee Dr Adeola Adepoju and president Ipapo Descendant Union Alhaji Jimoh Adebayo in their separate remarks called for the collaborative efforts of Ipapo indigines across the world for the overall development of their ancient town.
The Eleyinpo of Ipapo Oba Yekeen Ademola Abioye the second charged investors to tap the abundant human and natural resources in the town.
The epoch event was graciously attended by traditional rulers, political stalwarts and distinguished personalities who came from all walks of life.
